About the event
Dive into the world of AI by designing solutions for specific problems using Machine Learning. In this workshop, 6th - 12th Graders on Kauaʻi you'll learn how to approach machine learning tasks creatively and see how your ideas influence AI behavior.
Objective: Train your own AI model to help the ʻĀina and Kamaʻāina of Kauaʻi.
Our Kauaʻi Girl Scouts will choose one of these 3 pressing issues on Kauaʻi, and learn how to train an AI model on how to solve it:
Kauaʻi Native Forest Birds are going extinct due to invasive mosquitos. We need our native forest birds to keep our islands' ecosystems from falling apart. They have a crucial role in aiding the pollination of our native ʻōhiʻa Trees and dispersing native plant seeds.
